THE CHARACTERS
FIONN
A member of an old race known as Fianna: mystical humans known for their snow-white hair and pupil-less sea-green eyes. His appearance is rather youthful, and this often leads people to mistake him for being quite younger than he actually is. It doesn’t help that he can be immature and childish - and perhaps a bit dense at times. He possesses powerful Sea magic. He is good friends with Fionnuala (though she would claim otherwise) and the chief of the Mors, Morcant.
FIONNUALA
A member of the Fianna. Fionnuala can be rather prickly and is easily annoyed (by Fionn, especially). She possesses Sea magic, and she is incredibly skilled as a healer - she can heal most injuries, relieve mild illnesses, and remedy poisonings. Fionnuala also has the ability to read prophetic messages, which leads to Fionn's learning of his mission.
MORCANT
The chief of the Mors - a tribe living in southwestern Draioland. Morcant is an adept chief and a talented swordsman, and he has used these abilities to conquer almost half of the southern part of Draioland. He met Fionn when they were younger, and he mistook Fionn as a child. He is the laxest with Fionn wandering into Mor territory whenever he pleases. Also, he is romantically interested in Fionnuala. He will eventually unify all the tribes in Morgana and thereafter became the first king.
MORA
A fae with the powers of the sea and the youngest of her sisters, Domhana and Adhara. Most notably, she gifted the people of present-day Morgana with her powers. Mora appears as a blue-haired, blue-eyed young woman to humans, so of the triad, she is often called “the Maiden”. Her preference for gifts includes fancy seashells and pearls. Out of her sisters, she is the most plucky and mischievous, and she enjoys pulling pranks on ignorant humans.
DOMHANA
A fae with powers of the earth and the middle sister of the triad. She gifted the people of present-day Esmerald with her powers. Domhana appears as a green-haired, green-eyed woman to humans, so of the triad, she is called “the Mother”. Her preference for gifts include flowers, rocks, and foods. Out of her sisters, she is the kindest and most motherly, and thinks humans are adorable creatures and cares for them.
ADHARA
A fae with the powers of sky and the eldest sister of the triad. She gifted the people of present-day Skyland with her powers. Adhara appears as a grizzled old woman with silver hair and pale eyes, so she is called “the Crone” of the triad. She has no preference for gifts but prefers her visitors to be capable in various fields (i.e. physical strength, knowledge). Adhara is the wariest of the three, a stern and hard faery, and she harbors little faith to the rest of Draioland’s residents outside of her people.
DORCHA
A malevolent faery that wields pure Dark magic. He stalks Fionn during the young warrior’s quest to forge Caliburn and plans to steal it. Should Dorcha’s hands claim the sword, it could spell trouble.
EVELYN
Morgan’s caretaker and the king’s attendant. She, like all people from the Morgana district Boann, is a direct descendant of the old Fianna. However, descendants of the Fianna have honey-brown hair instead of white, and now have pupils in their blue-green irises.
MORGAN
The 5-year-old crowned prince of Morgana. Notably named after the first king of Morgana, Morcant. Currently, his father away leading an invasion on Skyland.
